Favicon Generator

Upload a logo and get every icon browsers, iOS and Android expect — favicon.ico, PNG icons, an Apple touch icon, web app manifest icons — plus the HTML to paste into your site.

Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser — nothing you add is uploaded.

What's in the package

favicon.ico
Classic favicon with 16, 32 and 48px sizes inside. Works everywhere, including legacy browsers and RSS readers.
favicon.svg
Scalable favicon for modern browsers. Only included when you upload an SVG.
favicon-16x16.png, favicon-32x32.png
PNG fallbacks for browser tabs and bookmarks.
apple-touch-icon.png
180×180px icon used when someone adds your site to their iPhone or iPad home screen.
icon-192.png, icon-512.png
Icons for Android and installable web apps, referenced by the manifest.
icon-maskable-512.png
Android adaptive icon with extra safe-zone padding, so it isn't cropped into odd shapes.
site.webmanifest
Web app manifest listing your icons, app name and theme color.

How to add the favicons to your site

  1. Unzip the files into the root of your site — the public/ folder in Next.js, Vite, Astro and most other frameworks.
  2. Copy the generated HTML into the <head> of every page.
  3. Reload with a hard refresh — browsers cache favicons aggressively.

Using the Next.js App Router? You can skip the HTML: put favicon.ico in app/ and rename apple-touch-icon.png to app/apple-icon.png, and Next.js adds the tags for you.

Your image stays on your device

Every icon is generated in your browser with the Canvas API. Your image is never uploaded to a server, and the tool keeps working even if you go offline after the page loads.
